Kintsugi, for those that are unaware, is a Japanese art form in which the artist takes a broken vase or other piece of pottery, repairs it and inlays the cracks with gold leaf, as a way to highlight the imperfections and create something even more beautiful than before.
"Kintsugi" the album, aims to showcase that musically and lyrically, highlighting the parts of us that are broken, working to repair and then highlight them, in the process of making oneself all the more beautiful as we journey through this life.
